- Each season Samboni and Providence Bruins players attend the Special Olympics Sports Celebrity Carnival held at the Rhode Island Convention Center
- Providence Bruins players play air hockey with people attending the carnival and also give people tips on shooting a hockey puck, while taking pictures and signing autographs
- WEEI and the Providence Bruins also donate tickets to Special Olympians so that they can attend Providence Bruins games
- Special Olympians are also invited to the Dunkin’ Donuts Center for practices, where they can watch the P-Bruins and meet some of the players following practice
